Payment Policy

We accept many forms of payment. All orders must be paid at time of order. We also except purchase orders with 20 day net terms

Order Cancellation Policy

Most orders are shipped within 12 hours of payment, so canceling an order may be difficult.  If you wish to cancel an order, notify us immediately and we will attempt to stop the order before it is processed and sent for shipping.  If it has already been processed, we are unable to cancel the order, and it will be subject to our return policy.

Return Policy

We accept returns on all products returned to us in original and resalable condition within 10 days of purchase.  Shipping fees are not refundable.  Shipping fees incurred by Battle Robot Kits are not refundable.  There is a $10 or 20% restocking fee, whichever is greater, for all returned items.  Please email us at battlerobotkit@gmail.com to receive an RMA number before returning any products. All products must be shipped in a box in order to comply with USPS and UPS regulations. Returns in an envelope or padded envelope will not be accepted. Return refund processing can take 3-4 weeks, from receipt of the return, as all products are individually inspected for damage/use.

We do not accept returns on products that have been damaged due to improper handling, show signs of wear or missing parts.

Please be sure to provide a complete and correct shipping address.  Any order returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect address supplied or an undeliverable address will be refunded the value of the order less shipping and any return shipping charges.  Any non-US order returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or missing VAT/Tax ID/EORI number will be refunded the value of the order less shipping and any return shipping charges. 

Any shipments refused by addressee are also subject to shipping charges, return shipping charges, and restocking fees.

Damaged Shipment

We take great care in packaging our products for shipment, so damage during shipping is very rare.  All shipments that are received in visibly damaged condition MUST be reported to the delivery carrier at the time of receipt.  Also, damage claims must be reported to us within 2 days of receiving your shipment so that we can initiate a claim with the carrier.  You must keep all boxes and packing material, as the carrier may want to inspect the damaged packaging and products.

Incomplete/Incorrect Shipment

All orders are double checked before shipping to ensure that all ordered items are included and correct. In the rare case that you receive an incomplete or incorrect order, you must notify us within 2 days of receiving your shipment.  Due to the small size of some of our parts they are sometimes overlooked in the packing materials.  Please double check the contents of your box, including all of the packing materials before initiating a claim.  Battle Robot Kit at its sole discretion, can choose to refund or replace the item(s) in question.

Security Policy

We are very concerned about the security of our transactions on the web.  That is why we use Authorize.net, one of the most respected and secure credit card processing providers on the web.  We do not store your credit card information on our servers, or anywhere else, after your order is processed and complete. 

Privacy Policy

We collect personal information such as your name, email address and physical address when you:

1. Sign up for our monthly newsletter, or

2. Place an order at our store.

We are committed to keeping your data secure.  We work hard to make sure our systems are up to date and secure, preventing anyone else from getting your information.  We also store your data carefully to ensure that your data is protected as much as possible in the event of such a breech.

We do not share your information with third parties except in a few very specific circumstances:

1. When we use a third-party mailing service to email newsletters, and

2. When payment is rendered, your information is shared with the payment provider, such as PayPal.

We do retain your personal data for a period of time to meet accounting, legal and other requirements.

You have a choice about whether you receive certain emails from us.  If you would like to unsubscribe from our monthly email newsletter, you can do so at any time.

We do send emails to confirm orders placed on our website.  You may also receive email notification from third-party shippers like UPS.

According to the new rules of the GDPR, EU subjects have the right to ask companies to delete or anonymize their data. Should you feel this is necessary, please contact us via email at battlerobotkit@gmail.com with your concerns.  We can delete or anonymize your data, though the timing may be subject to legal and accounting needs.  For example, we can’t delete your name and address if we have a pending order to ship to you!

Use of cookies: Cookies are bits of information that are stored in your browser.  Our website uses cookies to keep track of items in your shopping cart.  We also use cookies to improve interactions with our site or track the effectiveness of advertising.

Limited Warranty

We warrant our products to be free of manufacturers defects.  Our only obligation is to replace products proven to be defective.  All other warranties, express or implied are disclaimed.

Liability

Acceptance of any order is conditioned on Buyer's acceptance of these terms. We shall not be liable, whether in contract, in tort, under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise, for consequential, special or incidental damages.  Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed the amount of the purchase price.  The buyer's limited right to replacement is the Buyer's sole and exclusive remedy. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Brandon Kittredge, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.
